Marginal #4 is an idol multimedia franchise created by the Japanese company Rejet in 2013.
Synopsis[]
At the agency Pythagoras Production, the new idol unit, "Marginal #4", has successfully debuted. The quartet of the twins L and R Nomura, the fierce Atom Kirihara and the shy Rui Aiba, are said to be "the idols who deliver their kisses to the ends of the galaxy." However, off the stage, they are teenagers with chaotic lives of their own...
They switch to a new school, but because of their fame, they now have to deal with the attention of the other students, and sometimes, their projects don't come right as they expected. However, they are encouraged by their seniors, Lagrange Point, along the way. They are soon joined by their juniors, Unicorn Jr.

Atom Kirihara (桐原 アトム)
- Voiced by Toshiki Masuda
He has a powerful personality, and is known for his athleticism. His nickname is "Raging Shooting Star" (荒れ狂うシューティングスター), and his theme color is red.
Rui Aiba (藍羽 ルイ)
- Voiced by Naozumi Takahashi
Has a cool and quite personality. He is good and math and has excellent singing and dancing skills. He once was in another idol group, but he gained more attention than the other members. Because of this, they disbanded. His nickname is "Quietly-Shining First Magnitude Star" (静かに輝く一等星), and his theme color is blue.
L Nomura (野村 エル)
- Voiced by KENN
The twin brother of R. He is the most fashionable out of the group, constantly changing piercings and costumes. He keeps many lucky charms called "Marimo" at home and work. His nickname is "Graceful and Crazy Gemini" (優美でクレイジーなジェミニ), and his theme color is green.
R Nomura (野村 アール)
- Voiced by Yuto Suzuki
The leader of the group and the twin brother of L. He is rather introverted, bt has a kind heart. He likes online games. He and L have a pet dog called "Mayuge", whom they take care of at home and love very much. His nickname is "Artistic Gemini" (アーティスティックなジェミニ), and his theme color is orange-yellow.
LAGRANGE POINT[]
A veteran idol unit at Pythagoras Production, and the seniors of Marginal #4. Their concept is "idols who whisper love from morning to night".
Shy Makishima (牧島 シャイ)
- Voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga
He is stoic enough to acknowledge it himself, but also has a manly side to him. He respects the hard-working attitude of his partner Kira. His nickname is "The Moon Prince Shining in the Night Sky" (夜空に光り輝く月の王子).
Kira Himuro (緋室 キラ)
- Voiced by Genki Okawa
He is the group's mood maker. Has a whild personality, and loves to play first-person shooters. He respects the talent of his partner Shy. His nickname is "The Sun Prince Giving Light to the Stars" (星に光を与える太陽の王子).
UNICORN Jr.[]
The newest idol unit at Pythagoras Production, and the juniors of Marginal No.4. They officially debuted on May 13, 2015. Their concept is "the young unicorns who descended from the sky".
Tsubasa Shindo (新堂 ツバサ)
- Voiced by Shouta Aoi
The leader of Unicorn Jr. His charm point is his devilish smile. While he respects his seniors, he dreams of surpassing them someday. His nickname is "The Unicorn Loved by Even Devils" (悪魔すら見惚れる一角獣).
Alto Takimaru (丸 アルト)
- Voiced by Chiharu Sawashiro
Has a cool and natural personality. Like Tsubasa, he dreams of becoming a top idol one day. His nickname is "The Mysterious Unicorn" (神出鬼没、謎の一角獣).
Teruma Nakama (仲真 テルマ)
- Voiced by Toshiyuki Someya
Has a pure personality. He is often mistaken for a girl due to his feminine appearance. His nickname is "The Pure-hearted Unicorn" (心麗しき純白の一角獣).
